Notice of a private memorial: Basel Vellacott, c. 1996–2020
Furnetics notes with regret the passing of Basel Vellacott — the domestic cat Dr. Alastair R. Vellacott returned with from the June 1996 compassionate-use trial in Basel — at approximately twenty-four years of age. A private memorial was held at the Ulaanbaatar campus; no public observance is planned.

Notice of a ceremonial decommissioning: Dissolution Chamber No. I
The last first-generation Phenotype Renovations dissolution chamber leaves service after twenty-five years. A single-column glass cylinder engraved with the initials of its designer, Chamber No. I passes on permanent loan to the Whipple Museum of the History of Science in Cambridge.
